This powerful software is an outgrowth of the landmark Tesco SchoolNet 2000 project conducted in the United Kingdom by Intuitive Media, the UK based award winning company behind some of the best educational websites in the world. Working with East Anglia Polytechnic's UltraLab, Intuitive Media developed a secure, user friendly, web-based learning environment that was enthusiastically utilized by schools and students throughout the United Kingdom. SchoolNet Global provides the world with an upgraded version of this environment and much more. When schools anywhere in the world become part of the SchoolNet Global family. They immediately have access to a rich variety of global curriculum activities and projects. Along with this they have access to all the schools within the environment. Moreover, they can join Millennium Schools and can establish and maintain their web presence remotely without other software. Schools wishing to initiate and conduct global education projects are free to contact like minded SchoolNet Global schools throughout the world with whom they can develop truly interactive learning groups.
