Hello everyone, I'm Jane Millard. I feel very lucky to be involved with GridClub because it gives kids a safe and exciting online place to develop their skills, talk to each other and have fun at the same time! I love being a mediator because I can work with kids and help them to create some great stuff.

In GridClub I look after the Animal Club. This is great, because I love animals. At home, we have several pets: three rabbits, twelve guinea pigs and two hamsters! In addition to the Animal Club, I take care of the Computer Games Club and the Games, Puzzles and Jokes Club - also right up my street!

When I'm not working on the computer, I love to spend time with my children, Joe and Hannah. My interests include walking, good films and music. I also enjoy creative writing and computer art.

Since beginning her professional career, she has taught at both the primary and secondary levels. As a Maths Coordinator at St. Richard's Catholic Primary School in Dover, Jane's interest in computers grew and she moved into the area of IT. She helped set up a computer network and became the school's network manager.

While working in schools, Jane discovered that she really loved teaching. She also found a creative streak within herself while teaching Art and Creative Writing, which led to a growing personal interest in these activities.
