James Blomfield
Hi, my name is James and I manage the GridClub Mediation Team. We have a BIG challenge to fulfil. GridClub needs to appeal to children of different ages, abilities and communities. But it also has to be FUN, because we want club members to have a go in their free time. I love working on GridClub because children get to have their say and
tell us what there should be in the clubs.
Our team of mediators are like saints! They have to be welcoming, enthusiastic and cheerful. We are here to look after club members every day of the year (including weekends!). We want all GridClubbers to feel secure and that they are part of a fantastic community (what our Kids' Council recently called 'The Grid Crew'. They thought it
was much cooler, and who were we to argue!
When I'm not working I love to spend time with my own family and friends. My interests include writing, recording and watching films. My eldest son Jacob is a GridClub member and we are always fighting to use the computer!
