Tearing Down The House
| January 1954, The Panorama of'54 states that the HI-Y began the job of wrecking the corner house. You might remember that this house stood at the corner of Cedar Hill Road and Shornecliffe. If I remember correctly, the demolition was done on a Saturday and most of the material was purchased by Mr. Forster. We delivered it to his home on Cadboro Bay Road. The removal of the house was part of the building programme that gave the school new classrooms and it first gymnasium/auditorium...Dave |
